As of now, there is no tropical cyclone present within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Meanwhile, active Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) extending across Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. This weather system is expected to bring light to moderate rains to the said areas. Southern Luzon, Bicol Region and Visayas will take the brunt of this rainfall. As much as 70mm of rains is probable for this area for the next 24 hours. Northern and Central Luzon might see some 10-60mm accumulated rainfall for the next 24 hours; the the western side of Visayas will experience some 10-40mm of accumulated rainfall; and Mindanao might see the same accumulated rainfall with Visayas.

As of 3pm today, a large lump pf convection associated with the ITCZ is covering much of Bicol Region and Visayas. The intense part of this convection just over Central Visayas. Panay, Negros, Cebu, Samar and Leyte might see some strong thunderstormic activity connected with the ITCZ. This might bring heavy rainshowers that may cause sudden flooding especially to areas in which the soil is still saturated with rainwater. Meanwhile, a string of thunderstorms is approaching Bicol Region with the bulk of it moving towards the Camarines. Light to moderate rainshowers with scattered thunderstorms is expected for this area.

Albay: Mostly cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstroms. Light to moderate rainshower is expected. 50mm of 24hrs. accumulated rainwater is probable. temperature range: 24-30°C. Chance of rain: 40-50%
